Stories and Testimonials
A few summers ago, we treated child refugees in a program sponsored by the International Rescue Committee. One little girl, who didn’t speak English, was given a dental screening. The findings were not pretty. Over 50% of her baby teeth were decayed. Her smile was filled with black broken baby teeth. We were able to place white temporary fillings on her teeth. Afterwards, we gave her a mirror to look at her mouth. The language barrier was gone. Her smile said it all.
